One of my customers asked my to give his MGA a bit of spruce up ready for a trip to the lakes
On arrival

As is the norm with his cars, pretty clean to start with.
Usual wash procedure, then in for claying and a one stage machine polish
Pretty swirly and some signs of some heavy handed use of a buffer in the past from the paintshop.

So one with the polishing, medium cut polish on a polishing pad knocked back all the swirls, leaving just the deeper scratches behind, which was the requirement on the car this time around.
Some before and after comparisons

And a sort 50/50 on the bonnet

Once all the machine work was completed, the whole car was cleansed with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid.

This was left on while I attended to the brightwork and wheels, Britemax metal polish was used on all the chrome.
Cleaning the wires – what a laborious job that is……….

One down 3 to go ……

Cleaner Fluid buffed off, and a coat of Best of Show was applied, whilst that cured, engine bay and interior were given a quick tidy up.
The end result
