I was contacted by the owner to carry out a new car prep on one of his cars in readiness for his trip to Italy in it (can think of worse ways to travel).
Now we all know these car are large, but its not until you are up close and personal that you realise quite just how BIG they are.
Car on arrival wearing just 257 miles on the clock

Paul, a fellow Swissvax Detailer, popped over to lend a hand (he really needed his arm twisting on this one!) So while I got with cleaning the wheels and arches he set about washing the bodywork.
Paul giving the car a low pressure rinse after washing

Car was then brought indoors to be dried and inspected
Just to give you an idea of scale we stuck Pauls E46 in front of the Roller

Hats off to the supplying dealer the paintwork was spot on! Just 1 tiny bit of marring on the rear wing and a slight blemish to the brushed aluminium on the top of the grill surround
Some shots of the paintwork under the Brinkman

To give the paintwork the deepest gloss and perfect base, we both went around the car with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Pro on a finishing pad.
The brushed aluminium trim was cleansed by hand with Cleaner Fluid normal as this is non abrasive but has enough ability to remove some tarnishing and water spotting present.
Which left it looking like this

Next up was the wax, and there really was only one choice – The flagship Swissvax Divine

While Paul made a start on the bodywork, I Cleaner Fluided the wheels and applied Autobahn wheel wax

Divine curing

After leaving the wax to cure for 30 minutes or so it I started buffing it off

Interior was give a quick hoover and dust down, glass cleaned and tyres dressed with Pneu
Engine bay was given a once over, mainly to remove a thin layer of dust

Some interior shots – Some of the details on this car are simply amazing, everything just oozes quality and class

Door handles with art deco style backlighting

No imitation plastic wood here

Traditional RR layout for ignition and lighting

One doesn’t manually close ones door, one has a button for doing such menial tasks!

No uncouth rev counters here!

And last but not least the exterior shots!

21″ wheels with centre spinners that ensure the RR emblem is always pointing the right way up
